Approach

I work on any scale, from large gardens, to parts of gardens, balconies or tiny courtyards. Sometimes the hardest part of a garden is resolving the tricky spaces, i.e. the narrow space along one side of the house, a shady corner or bare front yard.

I provide advice on: design style; suitable plant species; reducing water usage; heat management; habitat creation; site constraints; and soil analysis.

 

My company is mosted suited to people who want advice and a design approach that they can implement with confidence themselves, at their pace.

 

I don't undertake construction, and would always advise that you seek the relevant expertise for any hardscaping that needs to meet construction standards. If the plan includes elements requiring outsourcing contractors, I will divide it into stages to facilitate these separate landscaping elements with advice on timing to minimise disruption and impacts to implementating the approach. This can be incorporated within the design for you to take to the relevant tradesperson.
